- Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements and footnotes
- Perform account reconciliations, analyze and resolve discrepancies
- Recommend and implement process and control enhancements
- Participate in monthly accounting close
- Prepare variance analysis and explanations
- Provide management support and assistance as necessary
- Support internal control documentation and processes
- Prepare audit schedules
- Support Lease Accounting activities
- Prepare TrinityRail financial, operational, and statistical reports
- Support Trinity Industries SEC reporting pertaining to the Leasing & Rail Management segment
- 3-5 years’ experience in similar environment
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative
- Willing to work as necessary to complete assignments
- Effective communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
