In this role, you will

• Have the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new information technology systems

• Prepare TrinityRail individual and consolidated financial, operational and statistical reports

• Participates in monthly accounting close

• Account reconciliations/validations to resolve any discrepancies

• Recommends and implements approved process and control enhancements

• Responds to audit requests as necessary

• Prepare variance analysis and explanations

• A minimum of 3 years of cost accounting experience (standard costing preferred)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ Finance

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

• Must possess effective communications skills, both verbal and written

• Strong analytical, organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills

• Ability to comprehend and interpret regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines

• Ability to work in a team environment across all levels of organization is essential

• Master’s degree and CPA or CMA preferred

• minimum 3 years relevant experience in systems customized for manufacturing environments

• Intermediate experience in all other Microsoft Office Products

• Creative and innovative – self starter

• Understanding and technical ability to build reports using systems such as Oracle, Hyperion Essbase, SQL, Discoverer, BI, ExpressOS, or BPCS
