Trinity Logistics is currenlty seeking a Logistics Specialist-3 to join our team at our corporate Offices in Dallas, Texas.
The Logistics Specialist role ultimately provides complete logistics support and is the liaison between the assigned trinity Industries business unit and Trinity Logistics Group Inc.
Responsibilities:
The following statements describe general duties and should not be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities.
•Primary responsibility to ensure all products and materials are picked up and delivered in a timely manner
•Ensure accuracy on dates, time, location commodity, weight, onsite contact, and transportation rate
•Logistically position outside carriers equipment and drivers to meet customer demands/expectations
•Provide exemplary customer service to customer base.
•Completes required paper work accurately and timely.( BOL, POD, )
•Resolve operational conflicts with or between customers, shippers and receivers.
•Ensure concise and timely input of data as well as update and generate reports to track activities.
•Conduct him/herself in a professional manner at all times when representing Trinity Logistics Group. This professional demeanor extends to written correspondence generated (traditional or electronic) and verbal conversation whether in-person or via telephone.
•Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
• 3 years minimum of relevant experience
• Candidate must be able to handle multiple tasks
• Must have knowledge of materials, delivery times, logistics management, and plant operations Must communicate effectively with drivers, plant personnel and customers
• Must have the flexibility to be on call and work weekends and occasional evenings after normal business hours
