Lead Chemical Cleaning Technician
TrinityRail Maintenance Services is searching for a Lead Chemical Cleaning Technician in our Jonesboro, AR plant. We provide a complete array of railcar maintenance services.
In this role, you will Prepare materials, surfaces and structures for coverage with paint, laminate, rubber or other material. Apply coatings to specifications and completes detailed special applications as appropriate to the surface and final product requirements. Determine and completes appropriate cleaning process of product. Handle and maintain cleaning equipment and materials including hazardous chemicals. Apply knowledge of chemicals and cleaning procedures for assignment. Follow all safety rules and practices. May be involved in committees or initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll do:

Used for employees who are considered working leads/lead workers

Monitors and adapts processes and scheduling to accomplish manufacturing goals

Functions as a team leader by directing the work of others

May be required to fill-in so that production goals can be met

Complete understanding of the job, company policies and processes

Applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of complex tasks

Familiar with a broad variety of field’s concepts, practices and procedures

May operate specialized equipment that requires advanced skills

Independent judgment and resourcefulness or sense of leadership are required

Solves and identifies complex problems using advanced technical knowledge and creativity

Trains, instructs, and directs work activities of employees

Level 3 plus
