Assembler 2
Our assemblers build wind towers that can be seen across the country. As an Assembler at Trinity Industries, you’ll assemble mechanical units, fabricated parts/components subassemblies, assemblies, and complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and miscellaneous equipment. The Assembler will also fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements, and repair units or products that have failed to meet requirements.

What you’ll do:
- Attach complex sub-assemblies and/or parts with appropriate hardware (bolts, nuts, hucks)
- Apply appropriate torque sequence and values (certified)
- Read and follow complex instructions
- May operate mobile equipment
- Follow all safety rules and practices
- May be involved in safety committees or initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned
What you’ll need:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience
- Electrical wiring experience
- The ability to identify and match up subassembly to final product
