Assembler 2
Trinity Structural Towers is searching for an Assembler 2 in our Clinton, IL plant! This is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package. The opening is for 1st shift.

Responsibilities:
- Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components subassemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures and miscellaneous equipment.
- Fits, aligns, calibrates and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements; repairing units or products that have failed to meet requirements.
- Assembles components to create kits or fabricated parts at floor stations.
- Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
- Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.
- Identifies parts that need repair and performs repairs as necessary.
- Follows all safety rules and practices.
- May be involved in safety committees or initiatives.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- May be used for employees who have some experience but are still in the “learning” mode.
- Good knowledge of the job, company policies and processes.
- Mechanical fastening (bolts, nuts, hucks).
- Applies appropriate torque sequence and values (certified).
- Reads blueprints.
- Minimum 1 year of related experience required
- Heavy manufacturing experience
