TrinityRail Maintenance Services, Inc. provides a complete array of railcar maintenance services.
As a Quality Inspector at Trinity, you’ll make visual and measured inspection of products to ensure conformance with standards and determine if product meets all requirements. You may inspect incoming materials or plates, outgoing materials, or fittings and weld throughout the manufacturing process.
The inspector may inspect singular inspections in process, such as hydrostatic tests, post weld heat treatment, brake tests, valve up assembly, valve bench tests, wheel change-outs, welding, car cleaning, parts fabrication, inbound material, along with other items listed in a cars work order.
Must be able to read a tape measure to ensure dimensions are correct. Must be able to work outdoors in adverse conditions, such as heat, cold, and rain. Must pass an eye exam and be able to lift up to 50lbs.
What you’ll do:
• In training
• Work under the supervision of a Level 2 certified inspector
• Follow all safety rules and practices
• May be involved in safety committees or initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned
What you’ll need:

Minimum of 0 years of experience

Basic knowledge of inspection tools and measuring equipment

Basic knowledge of operational function to be inspected

Ability to achieve WIS Level I in one year

Must be able to work either 1st or 2nd shift
