In this role, you will assist the efforts of the Supply Chain Center of Excellence (SCCOE).  The SCCOE is a corporate initiative which provides a source for supply chain leaders throughout Trinity to collaborate on process improvement and standardization throughout Trinity’s diverse collection of businesses.  


Responsibilities:


  • Work with and support cross-functional teams to understand current supply management activities and establish best practices across the company.  
  • Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration with multiple project teams and support ongoing continuous improvement activities
  • Create and track key supply chain KPIs and metrics
  • Document and report activities and progress of the SCCOE, its subcommittees, and action teams
  • As needed, analyze and develop system driven reports that lead to actionable information for teams
  • Build spreadsheets and/or create presentations for senior management

Requirements:


  • BS degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years’ experience in a supply management role a plus
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement program a plus
  • MBA a plus
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
  • Ability to work well with all levels of the organization including plant associates to senior management 
  • Ability to learn new skills quickly and assume new responsibilities
  • Highly energetic self-starter
  • Highly responsive to multiple demands
  • Strong communication skill both written and verbal
  • Experience with MS Office, specifically MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint 
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is considered a plus
  • Some travel required including plants and operating facilities
