As an Equipment Technician at Trinity, you will be involved in the designing, and building of production aids to be used in the day to day operations of railcar maintenance facility. A Candidate will need knowledge that will include electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, fabrication and mechanical skills.
The candidate will be required to be self-motivated and make working SAFE the first priority. The Equipment Technician will perform electrical work (e.g. controls relays and distribution) and modify control circuits to acquire desire effects. The ability to troubleshoot and adjust will be highly desired. Strong communication skills are a must.
The technician also layout, builds, test, troubleshoot, repair and modifies production electronics components, parts, switch panels, etc.
Requirements:
• Perform complex builds and modifications on production equipment new and used.
• Read schematics: electrical, pneumatic, mechanical and hydraulic.
• Troubleshoot issues electrical, pneumatic, mechanical and hydraulic.
• Follow all safety rules and practices.
• May be involved in safety committee and other actives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
