Trinity Highway Rentals Inc.is searching for a Sales Representative in our Lithia Springs, GA facility. #nowhiring #work4trinity
In this role, we are searching for a qualified and ambitious individual to provide exceptional customer service through both sales and rental channels of our business by interacting with established customers and by developing new prospects in person and occasionally on the telephone and through cold calls. In addition, this role shall include the oversight of multiple distribution partnerships, tracking of projects and inventory, overall business and product development- working closely with architectural, engineering and design firms regarding product specification and acceptance.
The Sales Representative will report to the Regional Manager and will be instrumental in supporting the business plan through profitable revenue generation. The Sales Representative's primary responsibility is to serve our customers timely through the sale and rental of Trinity Highway Rentals’ products and services, and manage these various accounts effectively to grow the business through customer service excellence, customer and project visits and sales call related efforts governing the Southeast region (TN, NC, SC, GA, AL, MS, LA, & AR).
What you'll do:
- Telephone prospective customers and solicit business
- Attend Regional conferences and seminars
- Maintain contact with and act as a liaison to existing and potential customers and distributors
- Work closely with Inside Sales and Customer Service Representative(s) and Dispatch
- Remain in close communication with Service Team and Logistics to ensure deadlines are met
- Work in harmony with distributors to meet customer expectations
- Monitors rental and sales inventory and tracks project trends and product cycles.
- Inform customers of supply and price trends and prepare quotations
- Negotiate prices with customers, within established limits
- Secure, review, process and expedite orders
- Write orders, keeps records, maintains files, and makes reports on all phases of activities including sales recaps
- Track orders through the system until timely delivery of products
- Provide input regarding forecast figures
- Work with distributor sales team to maximize efficiency of product offering and sales effort
- Provides technical guidance to customers, project owners and affiliates
- Flexible work schedules, which may include extended work hours
- Travel frequently
- Data Mine project and bidding opportunities
- Perform other duties as assigned
What you'll need:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of three years sales experience, strong planning problem-solving and negotiation skills, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and proficient computer skills.
- Minimum of three years of experience in the construction industry and proven sales and customer service success, in either vertical, commercial or highway/traffic safety
- Experience with reading civil, site, maintenance of traffic and phasing plans, construction schedules a plus
- Minimum of three years of equipment rental experience, with an emphasis on safety-related products preferred
- Proficient computer skills with extensive experience using Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated effective leadership, motivational, organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently; strong teamwork and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- The successful candidate will have experience in Traffic Safety, understanding of MUTCD standards
- Valid driver license with acceptable driving record is required
- Reliable and predictable attendance
