Trinity Meyer Utility Structures is searching for a talented team player to fill the open position of Sr. Safety Coordinator in our Lancaster, SC office!  

In this role you will provide technical and/or administrative support in the areas of Safety and Environmental programs.
  • Ensures the company is in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations required in a manufacturing environment
  • Coordinates daily facility record keeping and compliance assurance activities.
  • Inspects work and hazardous waste storage areas and/or work practices to ensure compliance with environmental rules and objectives.   
  • Instructs employees and supervisors on proper practices and techniques.
  • Reviews and analyzes company safety and environmental practices by conducting audits and determines any recommendations based on audits performed.
  • Analyzes, collects, and maintains essential data for effective safety and environmental programs.
  • Maintains an understanding of applicable federal, state and local regulations at all plant locations.
  • Provides training to plant personnel including handlers of hazardous waste and hazardous materials.
  • Develops and maintains analytical reports related to facility’s safety/environmental conditions.
  • Maintains accurate and complete records of training, inspections, audits, and required regulatory documentation.


What you will need:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Safety Coordinator in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment or an Associates degree in Safety and Occupational health
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in MS Office
