The Quality Supervisor ensures quality products are designed, engineered, and manufactured by Trinity. This position will also be responsible for developing and implementing programs and processes to ensure that Trinity products are safe, legal, and meet or exceed customer expectations for compliance with national, regional, and global regulations. In this role, you will lead the Quality organization, ensuring the following quality requirements are met:

 Process adherence – Standard operating procedures

Product conformity - inspections

Continual improvement, aligned with our lean journey

Supervises the daily activities of non-exempt and hourly employees

QA Inspectors

Works with QA Administrators for Customer and product specific Quality records

Aligned with business unity and corporate requirements, oversee comprehensive and effective internal quality audits

Drive statistically valid root cause analysis

Improve weekly and monthly KPI (key process indicator) results

Lead the effort in preventing repeat or major audit findings

 

The Trinity Quality Management System is based on ISO 9001. Key processes are based on industry standards and operational best practices including:

AWS (American Welding Society)

Weld Visual Inspection, based on AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code for Steel

NACE (National Association of Corrosion Engineers)

SSPC (The Society of Protective Coatings)

Blast Surface Profile Measurements

Paint DFT Measurements

Poke Yoke error proofing techniques

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quality Supervisor/Manager in a manufacturing environment

Minimum of 1 year of quality assurance experience (ISO 9001, Auditing)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree (Technical, Industrial, or Engineering)
