Team Lead -Leads cross-functional team in technical maintenance or manufacturing process to ensure quality and timely production. Schedules, coordinates and assists team to complete assignments. Leads team in manufacturing process to ensure quality and timely production. Assists equipment operators, assembly workers, and other process operators to complete assignments.
Used for employees who are considered working leads/ lead workers
- May operate specialized equipment that requires advanced skills
- Independent judgment and resourcefulness or sense of leadership are required
- Solves and identifies complex problems using advanced technical knowledge and creativity
- Trains, instructs and directs work activities of employees
- May influence or impact others' tasks or decisions
- Lead a specialized production process
- Trains lower levels
- Assists with scheduling and assignments
- Must qualify as level 3 in one family/function being led
- Must qualify as level 2 in two family/functions being led
- May be required to fill-in so that production goals can be met
- Complete understanding of the job, company policies and processes
- Applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of complex tasks
