In this role, the Mobile Maintenance :
- With readily available technical guidance, keep mobile equipment in good repair
- Respond in a timely manner to work orders and management requests
- Examine a variety of machines to diagnose trouble and recommend repair
- Dismantle mobile equipment, replace defective parts, reassemble mobile equipment and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operation
- Assist more experienced maintenance mechanics as assigned
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies regarding safety
- Work around a wide variety of equipment, chemicals and machinery; must be aware of safety hazards at all times
- Perform any and all other job related tasks as assigned
- Exposed to heat, dust, fumes and noise of foundry floor.
- Has exposure to chemicals. Must be able to climb up on ladders, equipment and roofs as necessary. Exposed to extreme temperatures occasionally.
What you will need:
- Vocational tech training in mechanical related field is preferred.
- Must have two (2) years of tech training (or equivalent experience) and at least one (1) year of related mechanical experience in hydraulics, electronics repair, and related mechanical applications.
- Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints, layout plans and machine instructions. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions with accuracy.
- Must be able to bend, reach, lift and move up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
- Must wear protective safety equipment including respirators, SCBAs, gloves and other protective clothing.
