Leadworker Assembly
GENERAL FUNCTION: Performs tasks to assemble and install material kits, and door assemblies within the towers. Works with and accounts for assigned hand tools. Observes all standard safety practices.

Possesses necessary leadership qualities to accomplish job responsibilities.

Can install all tower components (bus bars, wiring, lighting, platforms, etc.)

Can operate all equipment safely and efficiently.

Uses organizational skills in the daily operation of the assembly areas.

Able to troubleshoot equipment.

Audit and inspect work.
-
Knowledgeable in the duties and operations of each station/job within department.

Trains Assemblers A, B and C.
-
Provide work direction to employees.
-
Communicates employee performance to supervisor.
-
Requires minimal to no supervision.
-
Requires the ability to convey materials and items from receiving areas to storage or to other designated areas by hand, hand truck, or forklift.

Requires the ability to read and understand engineering and quality drawings, instructions, etc.

Safely and efficiently performs all essential functions.

Regular and predictable attendance is required.

Ability to function as a team leader.

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, co-workers and customers.

Understand the main components of operating a computer including MS Word and email.

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
-
Ability to communicate effectively while doing manual labor at the same time.
