Career Painter
The Coatings team at Trinity Industries makes the company’s wind towers shine. As a Painter, you will prepare materials, surfaces, and structures for coverage with paint, laminate, rubber, or other material. You will apply coatings to specifications and complete detailed special applications, as appropriate, to the surface and final product requirements.

What you’ll do:
• Prepare painting area and apply coatings
• Operate conventional and airless spray equipment to apply industrial finishes on metal and other types of surfaces
• Adjust nozzles on spray guns to obtain the proper dispersion of the spray and monitor the flow and viscosity
• May operate automated equipment or hand tools to clean or prepare interior and exterior product surfaces
• May perform duties of Prep Worker
• May be involved in safety committees or initiatives
• Follow all safety rules and practices
• Perform other duties as assigned
What you’ll need:
• Proficient at spray and hand-held application of exterior coatings
• Minimum of 1 year of experience
• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to proficiently spray and apply hand-held applications of coatings
