2nd Shift - Auto Welder 2 - Plant 200
- Set up and operate automatic welding equipment to weld metal pieces together according to layouts, blueprints, or work orders
- Position components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding
- Weld metal parts together manually and by using an automatic welding machine
- Perform minor maintenance to welding equipment (e.g., changes tips)
- Weld straight seams with consistent acceptable results
- May operate appropriate transportation equipment to move materials or product
- Observe all standard safety practices
- Maintain and complete all required records
- May be involved in safety committees or initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Minimum of 1 year of weld experience
- MIG or Flux-Core/FCAW experience is preferred
- Basic machine welding skills
- Ability to read blueprints, layouts, schematics, or work orders
- Ability to maintain good attendance
- Must be able to work 2nd Shift schedule: 6 PM - 4:30 AM, Monday-Thursday
